Scalebar not calculating perfectly

Maybe, I'm wrong, but could it be that the scalebar miles are just approxed?

I mean overall they are fine, they give an idea about distance. But if I resize my browser it shows something different if I directly compare it with the map and the amount of miles covered before.

Yes that is true. But it's really a big thing to do absolute correct calculations on this. I think it is not worth it right now.

Currently I'm doing the calculations on the window size of the browser, but that is not the best way for this. I think it needs to be done on the actual map sizes together with browser sizes and the map zooming.

But that is not that easy tho =/
